I wanted to give a brief explanation about Zeffy.
The “Donate Today” button will take you to our online payment processing managed through Zeffy – though similar to Go Fund Me, Zeffy is geared specifically for Non Profits, and thus, do not charge a fee to us on each donation. The Zeffy technology and security are top notch with all payment processing done through Stripe. Your chosen card and mailing address are not retained by Zeffy in any way. Zeffy retains no fees and 100% of your donation goes to The Little Big Forest which is not the case with GoFundMe.
Your donation can be either one time, or a monthly amount, and is at the top of the page.
You will see at the bottom of the donation page a spot that will show your donation to TLBF, and a drop down menu where you can choose a % or an amount to donate to Zeffy itself. That is how Zeffy makes their money, so consideration for an optional donation to Zeffy is appreciated.
