Come and be a part of a wonderful cause while learning the art of wooden basket making at our upcoming workshop!
Join us on April 22nd starting at 8:30 am at the Stoddard Town Hall for a day of creativity and community.
Led by the renowned Ray Lagasse, you’ll get to choose from one of 14 basket styles below and learn traditional techniques and tools used to craft your very own wooden basket. Whether you’re an experienced woodworker or a beginner, this workshop is perfect for you. You’ll be able to take home a beautiful and functional creation, all while supporting The Little Big Forest – a grassroots group led by the Stoddard Conservation Commission.
The Little Big Forest aims to purchase 40 acres of old-growth forest and 4000 feet of undeveloped shoreline on the southeast corner of Highland Lake in Stoddard, NH. All proceeds from the workshop will go directly to this organization dedicated to preserving and protecting this natural treasure for generations to come.
Only 10 tickets are available for this exclusive workshop, priced at $150 per person. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, learn from one of the best in the business, and contribute to a worthy cause.
